PhotoTechno Reflections - Dispensable becomes Indispensable

Image:Dispensable becomes Indispensable
Saw this young lad behind a restautant in Shanghai last year ... I never published the photo as I took it in a hurry, and composed it poorly, not wanting to intrude too much into his life.

Looking at it again this evening, it made me realise that all too often what we treat as highly dispensable, is in fact indispensable to some.

This is my entry to Theme Thursday:  Indispensable

what that touching image should remind us is that all that we waste, witout really needing it, is something we're taking away from the ones who do

impressive shot, great take on the theme

I'm having a bad time overhere seeing this image, while my desk is loaded with tons of CD's, 2 camera's, 1 very expensive bottle of Scotch and a 28" flatscreen behind my back! Not forget to mention my PC in front of me...

'Thank' you for sharing this sad sad sad image with us; It makes me realize once more that my life is full of privilege and I should be thankful for that.
